Out of the Box Fundraiser

Filled with love from CLE

The Cleveland Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, has traditionally raised money through the restaurant-based SummerDine event to fund a $2,000 scholarship for an Ohio woman attending culinary school, and a $2,000 grant to an organization combatting food deserts.

Social distancing required by the pandemic has forced us to pivot our fundraising model. We are thinking OUT OF THE BOX! And so, this year – from mid-November through early December – we will be offering a variety of gift boxes for purchase, just in time for the holidays!

Where do the raised funds go?

Annually, the Cleveland Chapter of LDEI awards a $2000 Scholarship to a woman enrolled in culinary school in Ohio, and a $2000 Grant to a local organization making an impact in our food community.
